About Us

Olivia Price, MHA, CTRS, LRT

Hi everyone! I'm Olivia, the Founder and Executive Director of Brain2Body Therapy! I  am thrilled to be a part of your spelling journey. I was born and raised outside of Charlotte and moved to the coast to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Therapy and my Masters in Healthcare Administration. Go Seahawks! I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to work as a recreational therapist, discovered Spelling to Communicate, and quickly realized what S2C could mean for all the nonspeakers I worked with. Fast forward a few years, I relocated back to Charlotte, NC, and Brain2Body Therapy was born! Our goal at Brain2Body is to support families and nonspeakers as we work together towards reliable, autonomous communication.  We're so glad you're here!

Carolyn Roberts

Carolyn began teaching in 2012 and discovered her passion for working with the neurodiverse community just a year later. In 2016, she assisted with the opening of Connections School of Atlanta (CSA)- a school dedicated to educating and supporting neurodiverse high school students and young adults. It was here in 2017 that she discovered Spelling To Communicate, a practice she has been dedicated to since. At CSA, she has taught subjects including music, math, and life skills. She currently teaches American Sign Language and Healthy Relationships and Sex Education to both spellers and non-spellers. As a Certified Spelling to Communicate practitioner, Carolyn believes deeply in presuming competence and is passionate about creating inclusive, student-led learning environments. Carolyn is proud to have mentored students who have gone on to advocate for themselves and others in powerful ways. She relocated to North Carolina in 2023 and, when she’s not teaching, you can find her in the garden or the kitchen and spending time with her cats and family.

I am excited to support spellers in any way I can!
